Acoustic interior grilles, type ABR

Merford type ABR acoustic interior grilles combine ventilation with sound insulation. They are useful in particular for utility rooms of buildings in preventing (excessive) sound finding its way into another room through the grille. The grilles come with a labyrinth and sound-absorbing material that largely attenuate the sound while nonetheless allowing the grille to ventilate properly.

Type ABR acoustic grilles have a low profile and are easy to install. They are made of aluminium and are supplied as standard in the colour RAL 9010 (white) or natural anodised. On request the grilles can be supplied in any RAL colour (at an additional charge).

Applications of acoustic interior grilles

ABR grilles are especially suitable for interior rooms where ventilation is required while sound must be prevented from spreading to the surrounding area. The grilles insulate the sound without losing their ventilating effect. They are particularly effective in doors, panels and walls of housings and utility rooms such as meeting rooms, sanitary rooms, cupboards, etc.
